So, I have a Kodi client on my network and some of my folders are shared. However, when I download files into them, only the folders within the torrent will be set to "Everyone: Read" (as I have marked the parent folder). The actual new FILES do not set themselves to shared.
I've been going through downloads folder by folder. Select all, use the share charm, next folder. It's a chore. I haven't been able to find any options in 8.1, under File Sharing or the folders themselves, that fix this. Furthermore, I can't just right click the parent folder, set everything to 'Everyone: Read' again; this does not apply the file sharing settings to the files themselves. Again, just the folders are changed.
So I don't know if I need someone to help me with the syntax on a shell command, an option in Tixati I'm not seeing, or an option buried in 8.1, but I haven't found a solution.

Bumping this because I realized -- it's not obvious, the way I wrote it:
This is a problem with new files downloaded through tixati not having their parent folder's sharing permissions.
Having to change every file manually after download is a serious pain
