Suppose that I am currently downloading a torrent, the bandwidth for the download is at maximum. But when I added another torrent, the download stops/drops while the client is allocating space for the new torrent. This behavior is very observable when the space needed for the new torrent is very big (2GB up). Can this behavior be changed? Like make download and space allocation be on separate threads (multi-threaded)?

I think it is limited by hard drive speed. Setting file allocation method to Sparse Files help (it takes less time), but it causes more fragmentation.
