Hi there,
Please forgive me if I've posted in the wrong area, or if this has been asked before. I'm so confused, that my brain is farting, and I'm not even sure how to articulate my question. Lol.
Ok, I am downloading a few specific torrents, and most of the time, it only has one seeder, (The same one usually), anyway, sometimes, tixati, or else this user, is cutting off the download. I can go to select unignore, and then reconnect, and I get that user back, so they're not banning me. I am sharing files as much as I can. What's going on? Is there a way to see what else this, or any user is sharing? What about talking to that user to see if there is something I'm doing that might be annoying him/her into cutting me off mid download? If it's not that person cutting me off, then why does tixati do it? I have great download speed, and good upload speed.
Thanks for any help. :)
no, you can't communicate with that user. And you can't see what ever else they might be seeding or downloading. Best you can do is relax and let it take its course. If you can't get it from them, maybe you will get ti second hand from another users who is able to complete the torrent.
Tixati does have 'sharing channels', sorta like chatrooms of old but taking it to higher levels. A small percent of Tixati users sit in those rooms/channels, engage in small talk occasionally. Users have the option of sharing a list of links that others may browse. But that is merely a list of URLs or magnet links. It does not indicate that the user is actually seeding any of those files. Maybe yes, maybe no. Suffice it to say that such a list is not 'proof' in any way said users is actually sharing the contents of the torrent, only links that identify or describe a torrent.
Might the one seed you are trying to reach be one of the Tixati users (and it must be a Tixati users as only Tixati has this feature) that is parked in one of the dozens of channels? Possible by highly improbable.
