Stop Tixati if VPN is lost?

by Neil on 2015/12/30 06:49:20 PM
I have to use a VPN when I use Tixati.  I have noticed that if I lose my connection to the VPN, Tixati continues to download--and upload--directly over my ISP, without the protection that the VPN would provide.  Is there any way to tell Tixati to stop or exit if the "self-connect" IP changes?

there is a setting for this:

Settings > Network > Connections

toward the bottom, there is settings that say "Local Address or Interface" or something like that

there is a button with "..." on it, to the right of these settings

click it, and select your VPN adapter from the list

should do the trick

I'll give that a try.  Thanks.

Put the TAP driver in that spot. If the VPN is lost, the traffic drops to zero immediately. I love it but it's not obvious or mentioned in the manual.
