Using tixati on a linux server without gui

by Guest on 2015/12/26 09:55:17 PM
I'm currently building a server I want to download torrents with. I really like tixati and I would hate to switch to something else but I can't find anything on using tixati on a server without gui. Maybe it is possbile with the web interface? The problem is there is no way for me to config tixati directly on the server if it needs a gui.

if you use xvfb you can run without a gui no problem, and as a bonus it saves the occasional png file of what the GUI would look like if you had a real x server

If you want to run Tixati on a Linux box and work with it from a Windows box on the same network (LAN or WAN), have a look at MobaXterm.  It is a freeware X server, very easy to set up.  (There is also a shareware version, but the free version omits nothing essential.)
