Iam trying to use alias, but no luck

There's a bug in 2.31 with the alias and replace_in_new options... we'll get that fixed up for the next release, which should be along very soon.

2.34 alias not working, can anyone confirm it?

It is working for me using Tixati 64bit on Linux. There isn't any mention of alias in Event Log, it is visible after enabling detailed tracker messages logging.
