UDP Port Number

Hi all, running the latest version and I am unable to see a UDP port number. DHT stat., Unconfirmed incoming port. My TCP/UDP port is 22299, this is all that shows. Does this mean that the TCP and UDP are using the same port?

Yes, UDP and TCP always use the same port.
They have to because of the way bittorrent peer connections are multiplexed across both protocols. Peers don't have separate port for tcp/udp when they are passed around via tracker, PEX, or DHT.

then which protocol should I use from my router or VPN server to forward to? TCP or UDP? I cannot do them both on the same port.

Technically most NAT is irrelevant in UDP. You want to set it up in TCP.
Or triggered port forwarding to your internal LAN IP on the port you setup.

Thanks for your answer. I have set it to "TCP" now on my (Open)VPN server web interface page and it seems it works.

Forward the same port for both TCP and UDP, some routers even give the option to forward both in one rule.
NAT affect UDP just the same as TCP, so for best performance both should be forwarded.
