what OS? what version of tixati? what exactly is popping up when you say installation page?
how are you loading the magnet link? from torrent site, from pressing the add button in tixati?

Maybe you pointed your web-browser to open magnet links with the tixati installer that you downloaded, and not the actual program .exe that is installed in c:/program files/tixati.
You have to change your settings in your web browser I think... check in preferences to see what program it uses to open magnet links, and change that to c:\program files\tixati\tixati.exe

You can associate Tixati with torrents also when running portable. BUT you need to have a torrent in your directory in explorer.
Then right click, hold shift will let you "open with". When you browse the list of EXE files (recent list, or browse your tixati.exe file) you can also click "set as default" checkmark.
This can be a problem if you still have "revert associations on exit" setting checked in Tixati. But normally this will not cause you any trouble.
This stems from the multiple handling.. if your browser doesn't know what to do with the file, it normally downloads, or sends to explorer.exe
From there you need to tell explorer what to do with your files.
