Self-connect trouble

by pyc on 2015/11/13 10:04:25 AM
here is my config:

i have 2 machines on internal network.
machine 1 listening on port public_ip:x
machine 2 listening on port oucliv_ip:y

machine 2 won't leech from machine 1, it says "salf connect" in status, but that's when it tries to connect via public ip. when i manually enter internal_ip:x, it works...

so self connect doesn't take in account the difference in ip port? seems like a bug to me, but can it be overriden somehow?

thanks...

self connect goes off peer-id I think, address/port does not matter

sometimes routers can do strange things when trying to hairpin connections
