In version 2.24, when I rename the files, that is busy downloading, stop it and restart the laptop. When I start Tixati again it is still downloading the rename files, but now with 2.25 it does not run after restart, says file name is wrong.

strange, I tried this myself and had no problems at all
renamed files in multi-file torrent, closed program, restart program, files still OK, download/upload no problem
did the same thing renaming a folder in multi-file torrent, no problems
OP, is there anything more specific you are doing for this to happen?
No, when a torrent is starting to download, al I do is click on it pres F2 and rename it, but when I stop and restart Tixati, it does not see the file name that I have changed it to.
