can you fix the tray system so that it shows in plasma(kde5) tray ?

this is happening for many apps ,not just tixati, but there are guide to use the new system for plasma tray.
I would have thought that tixati being actively developed would result in this solved a long time ago.

I have app that are very old but they show up correctly in plasma tray.
like vidalia , which is not developed anymore for about 5 years.

please fix this. right now I would have to keep tixati un-minimized so that I would not lose and have to launch it again just to see the old process pop up again. If I minimize to tray ,it disappears and I have to run it again so that OS wpuld bring up the window of tixati (which is running in background) to front.

A Qt version should be great too.
