Tixati is pretty great but, no matter the app, the simplified folder browser is frustratingly limited.

If that is not workable maybe if the simplified one can at least open to the last used path or to a default set path it would be less frustrating.
One thing I love about the detailed browser is it ability to dynamically complete the path if you are typing it in directly. If that ability was added to the existing path field I might not even need to use the browser.
