bug: torrent options won't allow LESS peers than default

by Guest on 2015/10/20 01:31:55 AM
In the Options -> Peers panel for each torrent, there is a setting which allows to specify a different number of "Maximum peer connections" than the default.

But it's only working if you set a HIGHER number than default - it won't accept LESS peers than the default number. Quite inconvenient.

Tixati 2.23 (Windows 32-bit version)

Thank you!

It works for me using v2.23 64bit for Linux and Windows.

Connected peers per torrent needs to be set lower than 25 if you're seeding a bunch of nearly-dead torrents.
Even a limit of 5 peers per torrent should be workable!

I agree. It would be great to set different maximum peers limits for downloads and uploads (or different peers limits for each category), so that I could set 100 peers limit for downloads and 10 for uploads.

Since the setting is already there with a neat box to specify the number of peers, I don't even see why it should be hard-coded to a lower limit at all - bar the lower limit being 1 peer.
