shouldn't this be a 1-time event, set it and forget it? Does it need to be accepted at each restart?

Same here. Dialogue box opens on each restart of Tixati whether you click "OK" or the X.

What OS is everyone using?

On Win 10 and Linux there is only a dialog box the first time i run the program from a different location than the last time. the second and future times i run tixati i get no dialog box.

OS : windows XP SP3 32bits

yesterday with the 2.18 version i unchecked the dsc:link checkbox and keeped the .torrent file association and the magnet:link  association checked and solved the problem : no dialog box at start

this morning the 2.19 version start without the dialog box

you can check those option in the Settings ->Shell Integration

It started with version 2.18 and still happens with 2.19.

Windows 10.

I'm using Win 7 Pro sp1 64 bit

I note that as of v2.21, this appears to have been fixed :)
