I like to maintain the link to my downloads (so they remain shared) by using Tixati to move & rename them.

But frequently, simply renaming a downloaded file (under the Files tab) breaks the link (filename changes to red & status changes to "offline".)

If I click "Start", the filename reverts back to its downloaded name. To deepen the mystery, it does NOT happen with every file, and I can't figure out why some can be renamed but others can't.

Is there a fix for this? Very frustrating. :(

(ADDENDUM: Is reporting an "Error: Access denied". No idea why. File is not in use and not in a protected folder, but closing & rerunning Tixati as Admin appears to resolve the issue.) :(

what OS are you running and what Tixati version? what exactly are you renaming? the torrent or a file within the torrent?

send some of those torrents with a small explanation to the devs. support@tixati.com

Works fine here, no problems with renaming whatsoever, i can even rename active torrents without breaking them

guess the problem is on your computer, probably limited privileges, etc
