Can't Create a +100k Files Seed

by 0x00000001 on 2015/09/18 04:09:42 AM
When trying to create a +100k files seed, entry in the client ends up being added, but in an orange color, instead of cyan (default skin), and instead of status "seed", the entry gets a status "error".

In the home tab, log prints:

[3:03:03 PM]  creating seed from local data files > dir001
[3:03:03 PM]  starting > dir001
[3:03:03 PM]  error: Invalid file system in meta-file > dir001

please explain better what is going on for you. are you talking size of torrent or number of files within a torrrent? what is exact number you are talking about? What OS and what version of tixati?

This is not a torrent with 7000 files. This is a torrent with >100k files. This is all that the log prints. After that I do not know what happens.

This was in the changelog
--updated bEncode parser to handle strings up to 67MB long, allowing extremely large .torrent files to be loaded
long story short this will allow very long metadata(whether single files @ 100 GiB or 1000s of files @ 1 GiB) . You may have an issue outside Tixati if something fails while hashing all that data.
