Ubuntu - No tray icon

by Guest on 2015/08/26 09:04:49 PM
Hello!

I have Ubuntu Desktop 64-bit 15.04. I just installed Tixati 2.64 64-bit from deb. And I see no tray icon even in the case the option 'Settings \ Behavior \ Show icon in system tray' is checked. Can I do something to make the tray icon visible?

I tried to search for a solution on forums. I failed. But I found that other users see the icon (they maybe use another version), but it is fully colored. In Ubuntu, tray icons should be monochrome (like in Android and some other OSes). Is it possible to use a monochrome tray icon for Ubuntu?

Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem on regular Ubuntu 15.04. The icon works fine with Ubuntu MATE 15.04, it is in RGB colours.
