Tixati use a lot of bandwidth but not much download

by Snake on 2015/08/12 10:14:30 PM
Just upgrade to Windows 10 Pro x64 and I installed Tixati 2.16 x64.
Try to download one or two files and found out that my internet slow down a lot but Tixati isn't really download much.
So I check the task monitor, network download is up to 9 Mbps but Tixati only download at 38KB/s.
Check at Resource Monitor and it report that Tixati is using bandwidth at around 900 KB/s.
What exactly happen here? Please help.

You must have other torrents or channels running.

I don't think I have any other torrents running I just install tixati and download only 2 files, no other clients running too.
I also didn't do anything on the channel(I don't even know what it's all about)

You can see on this one that it's going normal for a while, then torrents D/L and U/L is going down to the floor and Tixati start to eat up all bandwidth.
I can't open any websites when this happen, I have to stop all torrents or close the client itself.
(My internet connection is 13Mbps/1Mbps)

do you have a router (network address translation) or something like that?

sometimes the cheap ones can cause problems for p2p.

Sorry for late reply because after I deleted those two files the problem is gone so geuss it's those torrents that make problem.
But today I get this problem again from different files, different tracker.

OK I think I kinda stop it from happening now, just use ipfilter.

I don't think it is anything you are doing. Just coincidence. There is a big to do about nothing with windows 10. The other day a bunch of trackers banded or blocked windows 10 machines. You can read about it at TorrentFreak. Once there type in the search box Windows 10 banned.
