both of the regular windows versions should work in win 8.1. what happens when you try to run them?

It says
"This app can't run on your PC"
"To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher".

On both 32bit and 64bit installs.

Janet, I know they are moderated. They show pending, I can check back once an hour and it will show pending for 5 hours and then suddenly my response is gone.

the portable versions are the exact same as the release versions. there is no reason the release version of tixati for windows shouldn't run for you.

They might be the same as the portable version, but they will NOT install on my computer.

I have installed the program on 4 computers and not once had a problem until this computer which I purchased two weeks ago.

something must be different between your newest comp and the other 4 it has successfully installed on. plus you seem to be the only one having this problem on win 8.1.

Windows 8.1 is dead. It is the biggest failure of Microsoft since Windows Vista.

Switch to Win 7 x64 or Win 10 x64 for maximum performance and compatibility.

Running Windows 8.1, 64-bit just fine. Using 2.12 64-bit windows build just fine. Might be something wrong with your download
