Help with pre-download prompt.

I just made the change to Tixati from uTorrent, so far, I like it a lot more. But there is something that I can't seem to figure out by myself and can't find anything already posted, I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place or anything like that. So, the thing is that Tixati is automatically starting my downloads, without asking me where I want them. If it's of any help, this is what my transfer prompt settings look like: http://i.imgur.com/spfT7SI.png
Thanks.

for that pic, you should be getting the prompt box for everything except for torrents auto-created by the RSS. Are you sure they are not timing out and then starting? They start while you are watching with no prompt?

what os and version of tixati are you running?

Hi, I'm running Windows 7 x64 and Tixati v2.12. I just realized that Tixati only does what I said when using magnet links. I can go on using it downloading the torrents, but in all honesty if I can get it to show the prompt with magnet links, it would be great.
Thanks in advance

Hi, I replied but it seems to be gone. I apologize in advance if this gets double posted or something, I don't fully understand this forum. I'm running Windows 7 x64 and Tixati v2.12. A few hours ago I noticed that Tixati actually does give me the prompt, but only if I download the torrent, my initial problem only happens with magnet links. I can surely go on using Tixati by downloading torrents, but I find magnet links much more comfortable. So if anyone knows how to fix this, I'd be grateful.

the only thing you should not be prompted for (according to your pic) are torrents auto-created through RSS. all torrents created through .torrent files or magnet links should all be prompting you except if they are auto-created through RSS.

are you sure for the magnet links you are not being prompted? are you sure you are not missing the prompt?

keep in mind that for magnet links it has to get the torrent information from the peers before it can prompt you about the files in the torrent and such. so the prompt cant come up right away, it needs information first.

You are right, magnet links are working too. Although at first, Tixati was actually not prompting me for anything, I downloaded 2 torrents, one using magnet link and other downloading the .torrent file, and neither asked me where I wanted my files. I don't know what caused this, but that's beyond the point. Thanks a lot for your patience!

This is so weird... Tixati just jumped the location prompt on a magnet link download. What's happening here?

what exactly do you mean by 'jumped'?

Skipped it

Sorry for the delay, I was without internet for the last week.
This is the problem, I can't figure out why sometimes it asks me where I want my download, and why sometimes it doesn't. I appreciate all your effort to help me, but this just feels like a waste of energy. If it keeps happening, I'll deal with it any way I can.

Settings -> User Interface -> Behaviour
For the main window to keep focus turn ON "activate main window"
Transfer loading prompt - set minimum load "30 seconds" ... turn OFF options you don't want.
Duplicate transfer prompt - (useful to update transfer with new/updated trackers) turn ON options you want
