my problem it's that Tixati v1.96 portable doesn't pre-allocates disk space for the files in the torrent.

I don't now if I'm wrong, and it's a feature that I'm not understanding, but since the help it's out of date (http://support.tixati.com/Settings_-_Transfers_-_Local_Files)  in my Settings>Transfers>Local Files option File Allocation>Full Pre-Write is what I think should reserve the full space on disk for the torrent, no?

It's working now, but it's extremely slow on large torrents (10GB or above) :(

Yes, the option File Allocation>Full Pre-Write reserve the full space on disk AND it may be very slow when the files to allocate are bigs

the default option is Fast Allocate

my setting is Sparse files that reserve space when files are received and i never run into problems

make a try with the default option Fast Allocate
