Yes it is, I'm running the retail version of windows 10 (I was an insider) but there is a bug that stops your downloads (at random) at 99%. restarting seems to work most of the time, but this is a weird bug to say the least.

others have reported that bug so it will probably be fixed for alpha2.

If the new version works for Windows 10, am I right in assuming it will work for Windows 8.1? As the current version doesn't. I had to download the portable version for my new computer as it has Windows 8.1.

try it and see. if it doesn't work be sure to report back

No need to use an alpha or beta on Win 10, if you dont want to beta test just use 2.12, until then next version is released.
