Active vs inactive torrents and queueing questions

by Guest on 2015/06/24 05:11:46 AM
Hi Everyone

Sorry if this is a n00b question but I am just getting up and running with Tixati coming from other clients.

My question is this

Scenario
I have 15 download and 3 upload slots configured.
I have 15 download slots "full" with torrents that are "downloading" - approx 50% have seeds and 50% have zero or 1 or intermittent seeds.
I have 90 more torrents that are queued up but are not being downloaded because there are no open download slots.

Questions

1) Does Tixati have a concept of active vs inactive torrents like some other clients? Meaning if a torrent has zero seeds or leechers its inactive and doesnt count towards the DL/Seed queue?
2) if the answer to #1 above is yes - how do I configure this in Tixati?
3) if the answer to #1 is NO - how do you manage the queue when youre on a tracker with lots of "dead" torrents that are sometimes seeded?

BONUS - any pointers to managing a queue auto-magically (meaning hands off - not starting and stopping dead torrents) is appreciated.

Thank you

Sadly answer is NO, there's no automatic queue managing that would skip "slow" torrents blocking slots.

better queueing is coming very soon, probably next version.
