Upnp port forwarding error: 501

by Guest on 2015/05/12 07:34:54 AM
I was wondering if this error impacts the performance of Tixati in any way. DHT and incoming port connections are ok, but I keep getting this error: 501.

Can anyone give me a solution for this error?
Thanks.

Was it always like this, or was it working before and now it isn't ?

I would start by rebooting the router to see if it goes away.

If it doesn't, then go to the router's configuration page (by typing the router's IP into your web browser's address bar) and make sure that uPnP is enabled, and that otherwise nothing is blocking the port(s) you're trying to use - such as your own PC's software firewall.

For more info, read "Step 2" of:

it probably doesn't hurt things.

you should get the UPNP Log when this happens and send it to the devs. support@tixati.com

to get to the log you go to the Help Button, the yellow question mark at the top right. and then go to Diagnostics->UPNP Log

make sure the error happens while you are running the log and then click 'Save Report To File'

now send the file to devs.

Upnp is enabled on my router. And Tixati is unblocked on Kaspersky.
The problem started after updating to v2.11.

I have sent a copy of the upnp log to the devs.
