How to access settings.dat ?

by DoubleTrouble on 2015/04/13 08:00:04 PM
Hi,

I use a non-default Local IPv4 address which I specify in the UI under Settings->Network->Connections. This works fine, but I would like to be able to access this data (write it) programmatically.

I noticed that settings.dat (found in %appdata%\tixati\) has some kind of encryption and I wonder if it is is possible to decrypt it or store it in a non-encrypted format.

Would really appreciate the help, thanks in advance!

Linking to the adapter with '...' and not specifying an IP address may help.
Or use a GUID
Settings.dat is a binary format and not human readable.
