If you use the bandwidth button on the top screen the change will be in all downloading or uploading torrents and it will be nearly instant.
If you click the transfers button and are in the transfer screen you can right click an individual torrent and go to bandwidth and select a upload or download speed it will take some time for the change to happen and it will bounce around a bit before it settles on the speed you selected.
I have no idea why this is this way but I noticed the difference in how slow it changes sometimes it can take 30 seconds for the speed to change, a
very minor issue
in my book.

Do you mean limits for individual torrents or global outgoing limit (Bandwidth view)?

I have a 50MB/s incoming and 5MB/s outgoing internet bandwidth.
Despite requesting "Limit Incoming KB/s" to 25000 and outgoing to 2000 downloads will not exceed 1600KB/s and 350KB/s for Incoming.
Is there an absolute limit set by Tixati or is something else limiting the speeds?

do you have auto limit on?
maybe you are connecting to torrents that cant go any faster.

Auto-limit is not on and it doesn't matter what torrent.
I normally allow 8 upload torrents and the graph is almost level all the time, no matter how many seeds. Similarly downloads are always limited well below the limit I set, but multiples each have their own limit, so 3 might have 3 x 1MB/s = 3MB/s. Weird hey?

if the graph is level you cant give more, or they cant accept more.
do you have limits with categories going?
are you sure you have not set limits anywhere?

maybe the default limit of 55 connections per transfer is slowing it down.
