Could not connect to udp trackers

by olegych on 2014/11/30 02:03:03 AM
I'm having trouble downloading torrents
i'm not receiving any peers and connection to trackers always timeouts
this is the list of trackers

udp :// something.something dot com:80

(tracker list modified by mod)

note that they are all using udp

i had the same problem with bitcomet and it was never resolved so i had to move away from it
at the same time utorrent works properly, connects to trackers (at least some of them) and receives peers
i don't have port forwarding working because my isp always works behind nat

please halp!

Two large public trackers (with "open" and "public" in their names) seem to have stopped working for last few days. Most likely it's a temporary problem not related to Tixati. Other popular udp trackers work fine for me. Use DHT and read the "Optimize Tixati" help page.

Hi Pete
At the same moment it works in utorrent...
if you're referring to opening incoming connection ports, this won't work for me since i'm behind nat

look at settings-->transfers-->trackers

make sure you have "allow udp tracker connections" clicked on.
