Dual Boot

by Guest on 2014/10/13 06:03:12 PM
I have a PC running Windows 7 64 and Fedora 20 that I use in Dual Boot mode. I want to be able to share a NTFS directory that stores all my downloads & uploads between both OS. Is this feature supported? What do I need to do to ensure that this works without issue?

I have tried to do this this with another torrent client and have had problems with downloaded files being out of sync (when downloads have occurred in another OS session).

Any help/tips appreciated.

Can't make any promises since I don't use Fedora but I've had luck with using an external HD. But like I said this was with Debian so you'll just have to check with Fedora.

try running the portable version from a folder on the shared drive. just remember that after you run in one on the os's, when you switch over to the other os the files that have changed will have to be checked.
