I downloaded Tixati a couple months ago.....worked great.  I would select a movie to download and Tixati would open and there it was.  Now when I select a movie to  download the pictures file opens...no Tixati.  I downloaded the newest Tixati version and still have the problem.  All help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a file association issue, i.e. what program is associated to open torrents in your system.

Go to "Settings -> Shell Integration" and use the "Check Now" buttons to ensure Tixati is the default handler for .torrent files and magnet links.

Also check your web browser options to make sure it's redirecting your torrent requests to Tixati (in Firefox, for instance, it's "Tools -> Options -> Applications").

Check Settings > Shell Integration > click "Check Now", and optionally depress the "Check On Startup" buttons.

What browser are you using, does it happen on all sites? you need to add info to be helped.
