i was surprised to see that the bits/in are greater than the bits/in used to download the files (the same goes for uploading).
i've beed using tixati for two weeks but today was the first day i notice this problem.

i took snapshots at two different times from tixati and from my internet provider's traffic consumption the results were as below

by simple calculation the two files i downloaded consumed approximately 107 + 472= 579mb
while the consumed traffic in the were 1169mb
note: no other programs or devices were using the internet.


i have a limited traffic in my internet account, so please help me solve this problem so i can continue using your program which i like very much.

Are you using the CHANNELS feature, and have you joined a room that streams data?

There is protocol traffic that goes on. The rest might be math. Your ISP calculates in MB but often it is really Mb. You should find out exactly which it is. Then I see a big K for you in Tixati but since you can show a big K even though it is a little k and hide an i it is hard to tell what you really downloaded.

Go to settings/ user interface / output formatting and take a screen shot.
The other thing worth mentioning are you accepting encryption only? That takes more bytes.

i kindly note that this extra downloading does not happen in all the downloaded torrents.
i monitored it since my last status. (some of the download speeds were equal to tixati's)

even when everthing is off Tixati is still downloading and uploading

thats because the dht is running. also are you in any channels? they use bandwidth as well.

i think its the channels, the extra downloading stopped after i shot down the channels.
