An error message is being generated whenever the file "bwpresets2.dat.temp" tries to update itself. The "Retry" option does nothing and the "Ignore" option removes the error message from the screen, but it returns after a few minutes. I can manually delete the file, but Tixati soon re-creates it, then generates the same error again after a few more minutes. Although Tixati appears to continue to transfer data normally, the interface seems to be frozen and items won't respond to right or left-clicks and scroll-bars no longer function. Why is this happening and what can I do to correct whatever is wrong? Thanks!

Same here, quite troublesome, 2.43, Ive checked it there was a lock on the folder (which would have meant several others troubles), no.
Then, space available ? No worry there either.
Not sure what to do, in any case, it pop up quite often, meaning that most of my application get reduced when the error pop up.
Guess Ill see when 2.44 is released, still, since it is not an isolated error ?

No matter the OS, if there's a problem with permissions. You need to make the right attributes for your Tixati save folder.
That should be "chmod 755" in Linux, and maybe take ownership of your tixati prefs folder.
It's not recommended to run as "administrator" unless you are running the installer. Permisions in Windows by user can be troublesome, so its best to try a portable version with a new folder either at root c:\ (or other drive) or into say your Desktop to verify.
If this other folder works you have confirmation. (The reason the error happens continually is because Tixati saves backup data -- for your transfers, etc -- every 15 mins or so)
