If you change the Bitcoin address to a native SegWit (they start with bc1q...) you will pay only around half the transaction fee compared with using a legacy address. Taproot addresses bc1p.... are fine but they are not supported everywhere.
If you like the idea please keep an eye on the actual address too, because some people might continue to send donations to it.
