Been using Tixati for past several months now.  Like everything else, there is a learning curve, but this program was shorter than most.  One great job - 4 sure!  Can't wait to see what's in store for an update.

AWESOME program, works as it should, my new favorite!
The standard layout is great,
no ~annoyware~
and the global Bandwidth limiter is a great tool.

Love it!

Many THANKS to the developer/s!

Thanks for your work, this is the best torrent program I have used and many review sites say the same. Keep it up!

I just have to say thank you.  I never get on forums to post stuff unless I am in dire need of help, but in this case I just have to say how much I love Tixati and why.

I used uTorrent for years, and at one time was happy with them.  The speeds were fairly consistent, and I had many sorting options and abilities.  However, then they started throwing in advertising which would have been alright, execpt it started to actually hinder speeds, and the resources being used while uTorrent was running, made doing much else impossible.

That is not the case I have found with Tixati.  Your fast, lean, no advertising, and while maybe not the most ideal way to sort and categorize things, it still after fully explored fits all my needs. Best of all, when I am not surfing the net, it goes full speed, and even when I am it adjusts automatically to know, something uTorrent not to be able to do.

You may never have started or created this application with the purpose of making better than someone else, however, in almost all aspects, that is exactly what you have done.  uTorrent has been number one in ratings for so many years, however, this year I was glad, but definitely not surprised, to see that they came second to you.

Thanks again and keep up the great work!

Tixati is the best out there, I've used them all Utorrent for some time but got sick of the junk in it so changed to Tixati and I must say it has the best video and sound quality downloads I've watch and listen to in a long time keep up the good work looking forward to version 2 once again thank you.

I've been using torrents since I was 12 and in my 9 years of using it I have never found a better client...And I say that after using it for a little over an hour. This is my go to client for the foreseeable future!

I just registered to thank the developers.  I was once a faithful uTorrent user, until greed turned uTorrent into a bloated piece of garbage.  Then I switched to Transmission for Linux.  I avoided Windows torrent clients altogether, because there were no decent ones available.  Then I stumbled upon Tixati.  Tixati wasn't too well-known at the time.  I searched online, but couldn't find any reviews or discussion of it.  So I just tried it out for myself.  I soon discovered it was definitely not as good as the old uTorrent had been - it was BETTER!!!  From the first time I used it, I was sold.  I loved everything about it: the straight-forward and practical UI, the low resource use, the "channels" feature, advanced settings and configuration options, ALL OF IT!  I only wish more software was written this well.  Like the commenters above me have said: Thank you, devs!  Thank you a thousand time over!  You are doing awesome work, and we all appreciate it.

Registered to say the same thing...thanks so much for creating Tixati.

Alpha version - at this time 222 transfers cranking along smoothly (I have 4k offline, and am SLOWLY adding them back in)

I've been testing and testing and testing other software, and I can tell you around 200 they ALL start to huff and puff, something I can't really explain but I just start running into problems, sluggishness, torrents vanishing, taking to long to rename, modify and/or move files around.

BUT NOT WITH TIXATI.  So far, it is taking everything I am throwing at it and I'm renaming files, moving files, editing description fields (please keep this feature, VERY USEFUL to me for my labeling of books!!!)

I have used Tixati before, ditched it and keep coming back, I think the thing I like the most is it feels smooth and fast.  Once you get the layout down in your head, i'ts quick maneuvering around the program.

My only pet peeve with this program is the lack of a functioning Proxy support.  So maybe I'll just upgrade to full VPN, my service expires in September.  But I have never gotten proxy to work in Tixati, which is one of my main "issues".  But not a deal breaker (as they say).

---

Some things I love:

Description field - I use that for book authors in my book collection

IPFilter - one of the SLICKEST and easiest to use.  I currently ban the USA ( my own pet peeve), Pedophiles, Bluetack Level 1 and Spyware.

Category - Absolutely LOVE this feature, I am extremely ocd about my labeling of TV Shows, Books, and Music.  I prefer a category for each TV Show, this way everything is contained in a nice organized listing.  I also break now my books into books, books.cooking and my must into music.artists, music.discography, music.soundtrack, music.various artists, music.halloween, and music.xmas.  I told you I am ocd about this.  So the Category gives me the ability to sort as I need and the description gives me that extra field for quantifying my categories.

THANK YOU!!

That is it for now.  Thank you for the time and energy in this project and I know I've said it before, but I think I'll be sticking around with Tixati for some time, please don't abandon the project.

Great job and keep up the great work!

I too would like to say thank you for Tixati. I had been looking for a replacement for the, now, terrible uTorrent with ads, for some time.

I only came across Tixati because I had visited the uTorrent forums to try and solve a problem with uTorrent. There was a post there asking for peoples' opinions on what was the best p2p client? I looked in that post and someone there mentioned Tixati. I downloaded Tixati and after a few tests knew that, at last, I had found a suitable replacement for uTorrent. (Needless to say that post on the uTorrent forums wasn't there for long before mods deleted it. Just glad I got to read it before they did the delete.)

Many thanks for Tixati and special thanks for the Portable Tixati (love it). Donation now on the way!

A great thanks from belgium, Tixati is my top client

I have never really thanked Tixati's devs until now.

Thanks for the soft refresh in the forum, keeping the unpublished posts even when I accidentally press the "back" or "forward" button.

Thanks for the great torrent client, even though it has some imperfections.

Thanks for listening to the users and caring what they want and need.

Thank you!
