Is Tixati v2.11 slowing down browsing ??

by Guest on 2015/04/25 03:20:31 PM
Hello everyone,

After I upgraded to v2.11 (3 days ago), opening a browser and navigate the web is too slow. I have tried different browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Maxthon and Internet Explore) and all are way too slow. With v1.99 browsing was fast and normal.

Upgrading Tixati to 2.11 is the only change I have made on my PC in last month, nothing new installed.

I was wondering if anyone else have this issue?  ... Is it about Tixati 2.11?

Thanks any comment.

Tixati killing my browsing.

I recently changed over from Qbittorrent to Tixati and before that had Deluge and uTorrent.

I am on a 100mbit line and haven't had this issue before. When Tixati is open I cannot browse the internet. Using Google Chrome as my browser pages fail to load and Tixati is only downloading at 300kb/s. But I've downloaded files via Tixati with more seeders and have downloaded files at 4MB/s but regardless of how fast the downloads are webpages don't want to load with Tixati open.

With Qbittorrent, deluge and utorrent I didn't have this issue even when downloading near max speed of my internet connection.

I've left incoming ports as default 18347 and the connections page is default also.

I am running Windows 10 tech preview

Have you gone to the bandwidth page and limited your out going data to 80% of max? Likely the problem. Click the optimize link at the top of this page and follow those steps.

Why we have to modify Tixati configuration just for upgrading from 1.99 to 2.11?? ... If it was working well before, it has to work the same way now!!

Even if I don't believe what Sailor24 said, I tried his/hers suggestion and makes no deference.

... Please guys, don't go around guessing things that lead us messing Tixati's configuration!! ... Let the developers to handle this issue.
